Why Do We Use Verification Codes?
- Verification codes provide a measure of accountability to accreditation agencies that attendees receive the training for which they are granting credit.
- The codes encourage attendees to complete evaluations of conference content and conference presenters.
- The conference receives important feedback from session evaluations.
- Presenters like to get feedback about their sessions.
How Do Verification Codes Work?
Receiving Verification Codes:
- At the end of each 75-minute block of instruction, you will receive a unique verification code from the presenter.
- Record the code accurately; this is your only chance to get it.
- Save the code and be sure to keep it organized with the correct presentation.
- Remember, the code is case-sensitive.
Using Verification Codes:
- You need the unique verification code to unlock the evaluation for each presentation.
- Save your verification codes for every session you attend throughout the week.
Organizing Codes:
- Keep your verification codes organized with presentation title, date, and time.
Two-Part Presentations:
- Two-part presentations will have a unique code for Part 1 and a different unique code for Part 2.
- To receive the full 150 minutes of credit for a two-part presentation, you must attend both sessions and complete two evaluations (one for each part).
- If you complete only one evaluation, you will receive credit for just that 75-minute block.
- This enables you to get credit for only one part of a two-part presentation in the event you do not wish to attend both sessions.
Repeated Sessions:
- Every 75-minute block of instruction has a unique verification code. Therefore, repeated sessions will have a different unique verification code from other presentations under the same title.
Final Conference Certificate
Presentation Evaluations and Final Conference Certificate:
- Your final conference certificate will only list credit hours for presentations for which you complete a course evaluation.
- Save and organize your verification codes to ensure you can unlock and complete the evaluations.
- The code must match the presentation title along with the date and time you attended.
- If you do not complete an evaluation for a presentation you attend, you will not receive credit for that session on your final conference certificate.
- One of the primary purposes of the verification codes is to show proof you attended. If you do not have the code, it will not be supplied to you at a later time.
Account Requirements:
- You must be logged into YOUR account to complete evaluations.
- App and website accounts cannot be shared.
- IMPORTANT NOTE ON SUBSTITUTIONS: If you are substituting for a previously registered attendee, confirm that your account is set up correctly with your information before submitting evaluations.
- If your account information is incorrect, your final certificate may have someone else's name on it, and this cannot be corrected after the conference ends. This must be corrected before ANY evaluations are completed.
