Know2Protect (K2P) is the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) newest national public awareness campaign to prevent and combat online child sexual exploitation and abuse, help prevent future crimes and empower the public to report suspected abuse. The Department of Homeland Security utilizes outreach programs to educate the public about the growing threats children and teens face online. Project iGuardian is the official educational arm of the campaign where Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Special Agents present to kids, parents, and adults on the online threats, prevention strategies, and reporting suspected abuse.
