Teens facing behavioral, emotional, or social challenges may struggle with trust, motivation, or participation in treatment. This workshop is designed to help participants explore the reasons behind teen disengagement, learn rapport-building techniques, and discover creative interventions to foster trust and motivation. Through case studies and discussion, attendees will gain practical tools to break through resistance, enhance communication, and create a safe therapeutic space where teens feel heard and empowered to participate in their own healing process. By the end of this workshop, behavioral health providers with be equipped with actionable tools to foster meaningful engagement, build rapport, and create lasting change with disengaged teens.
