Special Victims Unit Chief Wichita County District Attorney's Office
Graf presented himself as an artistic photographer and groomed his girlfriend and her children to allow him to take naked pictures of them. As the photographs became more graphic, he also started sexually abusing the children. Jurisdictional issues made the case more difficult, as did his justification for the evidence that it was art and done with parental consent. We will discuss the investigation and prosecution of Graf, the organization of voluminous evidence, and strategies used in the trial and appeal of this case.
