The presentation will look at the impact of vicarious trauma on an individual when their work presents them traumatic experiences day in and day out. This presentation will also help the attendee to recognize if they are dealing with vicarious trauma, if a co-worker is dealing with vicarious trauma, and how to best handle the situation. The presentation will also provide a strategic gameplan on how to handle the vicarious trauma and how best to communicate with others that are dealing with it.
