This workshop provides essential knowledge and practical skills for professionals to understand and effectively respond to juvenile sex trafficking. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the dynamics behind trafficking of minors, and discuss innovative strategies that can help prevent, identify, and respond to cases related to juvenile sex-trafficking. With a focus on the Missing and Anti-Trafficking Services (MATYS) programs at Project Harmony (Omaha, NE) a Child Advocacy Center, attendees will learn from real-world examples; and explore how collaboration can result in comprehensive treatment, successful investigations, and an improved response to at-risk youth in their community.
