NCMEC will share its expertise and unique position as the nation’s clearinghouse on sexual exploitation to discuss current trends and threats children worldwide are facing online today. We’ll dive into the increase in online enticement, financial sextortion of minors, violent online groups and the impact of generative AI technologies. Tech enhancements and improvement to NCMEC’s CyberTipline and victim identification ecosystems will be discussed, helping streamline and triage incoming reports as well as referrals to law enforcement. Questions from the attendees about the reporting lifecycle, how to use NCMEC services, and other topics are encouraged.
