Community outreach is the simplest form of a proactive investigation. With an effective community outreach program, an agent/officer can potentially reduce crime by educating the community on how to prevent it. This presentation teaches LEOs the basic skills, resources and confidence to provide their local community with information that will not only protect children but also foster a positive relationship with community members. This presentation includes information that can be provided to the community in regards to sextortion and CAC offenders, as well as what they can do to protect their own children.
