This course is designed to teach basic open source investigative techniques to allow investigators to collect and analyze publicly available information. This course, using the basic techniques shown, allows investigators to progress investigations for suspects, missing children and human trafficking cases in an efficient manner.
Learning Objectives:
The student will learn about basic open source databases.
The student will learn how to collect, analyze and put together intelligence located online.
The student will learn how to create an intelligence product which can be disseminated to colleagues.
