In January 2025, Desiree Hamm aka "Tristan Grey" became the first female Sexually Violent Predator in Texas. To earn that historic title, she created an online web of lies and manipulation that stretched across the country luring young girls into her fantasy world. Through "role playing games" on and offline, she was able to brainwash multiple victims resulting in sexual, physical and psychological abuse. She was incarcerated for 15 years for those offenses, but upon nearing her release from prison, she was considered for civil commitment as a sexually violent predator. Through that process, those involved in prosecuting the case learned that her "role playing games" continued throughout her incarceration and existed even in the courtroom during trial.
