Al Killen-Harvey works at the Chadwick Center at Rady Children’s Hospital for 32 years as a trauma treatment therapist, Reflective Supervisor and trainer. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the co-founder of The Harvey Institute, a training and consultation company whose mission is improving health care through the integration of sexual health.
He currently serves on the Advisory Boards of the Children’s Advocacy Centers of California and is the co-chairperson of the Sexual Health subcommittee for the National Child Traumatic Stress Network and a past Advisory Board member for the Trevor Project. An expert witness for the United States Army and the San Diego District Attorney’s Office in the prosecution of sexual abuse cases. He is a past Advisory Board member for The Trevor Project.
