Mark L. MacKizer retired after 27 years as an FBI Special Agent where he primarily conducted violent crime investigations. The last seven years of his career, he was assigned to the Behavioral Analysis Unit, where he provided behaviorally based operational support for law enforcement, investigating threats, child abductions, homicides, and terrorism. His work included constructing behavioral analysis products related to risk, personality, and threat assessments of offenders. Mark is published in the APA Journal of Threat Assessment and Management, the Journal of Aggression and Violent Behavior, and the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin. In 2019, he established MacKizer Behavioral Analysis Consulting, offering operational support and training for government and private sector clients.
