LaTasha Williams, formerly known as Jackson-McDougle, is an award-winning advocate in social work and criminal justice, recognized for her leadership in domestic violence awareness. Her honors include the 2025 Great Women of Texas: Woman of Influence Award and numerous others. A UT Arlington graduate, she holds degrees in Social Work and Criminology. At just 18 months old, LaTasha survived a tragic act of domestic violence; her father kidnapped her and her mother, Cheryl Williams-Saddler, ultimately killing Cheryl and himself, leaving LaTasha for dead in an alley. She now channels her survival into purpose. As a Case Manager for Tarrant County’s Domestic Violence Diversion Program and Founder of Cheryl’s Voice, she has spent 20+ years advocating for prevention, education of children's impacted by domestic violence.
