Justin Fitzsimmons serves as an Associate Vice President at NW3C and sworn Assistant State’s Attorney at the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office in Illinois. Justin trains at international, national, state, and local conferences regarding criminal investigations and prosecutions. He specializes in presenting topics focusing on sexual abuse, severe physical abuse of children, technology-facilitated exploitation of children, and trial advocacy. Over the last fifteen years, Justin has developed courses to train law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, and criminal justice practitioners on technology and digital evidence, child exploitation, and trial advocacy. Justin has published extensively on child sexual exploitation, emerging digital evidence, and trial advocacy. He participated as a member of national working groups, developing responses to technology-facilitated crimes and strategies to educate the public on emerging threats.
