Deanna Franzen is currently the Assistant Chief of the 372nd District Court. As a prosecutor, she oversees the Veterans Treatment Court diversion program and has tried countless jury trials, primarily prosecuting child abuse and domestic violence cases. During her career, she has trained law enforcement, attorneys, students, and professionals from various disciplines on topics such as child abuse, intimate partner violence, handling expert witnesses, and the criminal justice process. She graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in political science and from Texas A&M University School of Law with a Juris Doctor. She began her career as an officer in the Air Force and separated from the military at the rank of Captain to become a prosecutor.
