Child Abuse Pediatrician

Coral Steffey is a pediatrician and the medical director of the child abuse team at Denver Health. Her team is co-located with multidisciplinary partners from Denver Police Department, Denver Human Services, Denver Children's Advocacy Center, and the Denver District Attorney's Office. She also provides medical care for children seen at the Ralston House Children's Advocacy Center, collaborates with the Child Protection Team at Children's Hosptial of Colorado, is a mentor with the Colorado CARE Network, serves on the Denver Child Fatality Review Board, participates in multidisciplinary case reviews in Denver metro counties, and serves on the Colorado Child Protection Ombudsman Board. Coral is passionate about child maltreatment education for children, caregivers, and professionals, and has worked in the field of child abuse medicine since 2009.
