Dr. Snyder is a board-certified child abuse pediatrician. She received a master’s in public health and her medical degree from West Virginia University. She completed her pediatric and chief residency at the University of Louisville and fellowship in child abuse pediatrics at Hasbro Children’s Hospital/Brown University. Dr. Snyder serves as the Division Chief for Child Abuse Pediatrics, Dell Medical School, The University of Texas at Austin and as medical director for the Child Abuse Resource and Education (CARE) and Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Teams at Dell Children’s Medical Center, as well as for several local child advocacy centers. She sits on the Governor’s Sexual Assault Survivors’ Task Force and is co-chair for the Child Abuse and Neglect Committee for the Texas Pediatric Society.
