Marisha DeVore has been with the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) since August 2018. She moved to Dallas in 2017 to intern at DCAC while completing her undergraduate degree in Family and Human Development at Arizona State University. During her internship, Marisha created engagement groups for siblings of clients, which led to the development of the Children’s Programming Advocate role. Over the past eight years, she has been instrumental in shaping DCAC’s Children’s Program and training staff. Marisha’s dedication to family support and advocacy has been central to her success. In April 2024, she was promoted to Assistant Director of Advocacy Services, recognizing her significant contributions to the organization.
