Carlos Rubio is a Training and Community Outreach Specialist at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center (DCAC) where he educates the community on abuse dynamics, child safety, and the critical role the community plays in preventing child abuse. His career began in Early Childhood Education and later expanded into Higher Education before joining DCAC. He initially served as a Family Advocate intern, transitioning to a full-time role in November 2020. With over five years of experience in child abuse prevention, Carlos supported families and children in their healing journey at DCAC. He holds a Master in Social Work from the University of Texas-Arlington (2021) and a Bachelor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas (2016).
