Alicia McShane is a Supervisory Special Agent within BAU 3, where SSA McShane focuses on violent crimes against children matters. She was promoted to this position in June 2017. She entered on duty with the FBI in August, 2009. Upon graduation from the FBI Academy, she was assigned to the Washington Field Office’s Child Exploitation Task Force (CETF.) While a member of the CETF, SA McShane investigated offenses involving child sexual exploitation. Prior to her promotion to the Behavioral Analysis Unit, SA McShane was a member of the FBI’s Child Abduction Rapid Deployment (CARD) Team and deployed regionally providing operational support and guidance for abduction investigations. In May, 2016, SA McShane earned a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from The George Washington University.
