Detective
Arlington Police Department

Alan Branch is a detective with the Arlington Police Department. He investigates internet crimes against children (i.e., child pornography, sexual performance by a child, and online solicitation of a minor) and human trafficking. He is also a Task Force Officer (TFO) with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in which he investigates cases of human trafficking and child exploitation. He started with the Arlington Police Department in 2009. He became a detective with APD’s Crimes Against Children Unit and transitioned over to investigating Internet Crimes Against Children on the North Texas ICAC Taskforce. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, and a Master’s degree in Christian Education.
