Claudia I. Gonzalez, M.A., LPC-S, CTMH, is the Director of Forensic Services at The Children’s Assessment Center in Houston, Texas. Claudia is responsible for the overall operations of the Forensic Services division, ensuring a professional, compassionate, and coordinated approach during the investigation of child sexual and physical abuse, exploitation, abduction, and/or witness to violent crime. She leads a team of twenty-five professionals who provide forensic interviews, extended forensic evaluations, advocacy services, and clinical assessments. Claudia has over 15 years of experience in the advocacy movement. Since joining The CAC, she has served as a Bilingual Forensic Interviewer, Forensic Evaluation Clinician, Supervisor of Forensic Services, and Manager of Therapy and Psychological Services. Claudia is passionate about direct services and providing expert testimony/consultation on child abuse cases.
