Donna Hansen

Montgomery County District Attorney's Office

Donna Hansen is the Chief of the Special Victims Division at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, supervising prosecutors in the Child Abuse, ICAC, and Domestic Violence Sections.

She began her career at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office (2006–2016), serving in the Misdemeanor Trial Bureau, Family Criminal Law Division, and Felony Trial Bureau before joining the Major Offenders Division. There, she investigated large-scale narcotics offenses and cold case homicides. Donna also served as a District Court Chief, trying numerous murder and capital murder cases.

At Montgomery County, Donna served as Chief of the 9th District Court, ICAC Division, and Felony Division, where she investigated fentanyl-related homicides. She holds a B.A. from the University of Houston and a J.D. from Regent University.
