John Jones grew up in Valliant Oklahoma. He attended York University Nebraska. He joined law enforcement in 2016 in Oklahoma. John eventually made investigator and was assigned to crimes against children. John eventually got promoted over narcotics but still worked many of the child crimes in McCurtain County. He came to Arkansas in 2021 to work for the 9th west drug task force. In 2022 he worked the Barry Walker case who received the longest prison sentence in the history of Arkansas and a top 10 longest conviction in US history. He worked with legislators in Arkansas to change the mandating reporting statute to include all persons over 18. Additionally, he's been recognized as an expert in court in both digital forensics and grooming behaviors.
