Detective Raungi Jones, a Dallas native and 11-year veteran of the Dallas Police Department. After beginning in patrol and community engagement, he rose to the rank of Senior Corporal/Detective, focusing on domestic and family violence investigations before transitioning to the Crimes Against Children Unit. Over the last four years, he has specialized in child exploitation cases, including online crimes as a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) squad.
Detective Jones is a passionate advocate for child safety, committed to combating the exploitation of minors through investigations and public education on internet safety. His efforts were recognized with the prestigious Guardian Award from Traffick911.
He is a dedicated husband and father of three working tirelessly to bring justice and awareness to crimes against children.
