Ashley Holman joined the Kaufman County District Attorney’s Office in 2015, and began her career prosecuting both misdemeanor and felony offenses. She has spent the last half of her career prosecuting felony family violence offenses and crimes against children. She is currently chief prosecutor of the Kaufman County Special Victim’s Division. Ashley obtained her bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas and her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. She is active in the community serving on boards with Lonestar CASA, Kaufman County Child Welfare Board, and teaching a 1st grade Sunday school class at her church.
