Full Time Staff Instructor at Alaska Law Enforcement Training Academy

Coby Sutton is an Alaska State Trooper currently assigned to the Alaska Law Enforcement Training Facility as a full-time instructor. He is currently responsible for teaching Firearms, High Risk Vehicle Stops, Report Writing, Domestic Violence, Sex Crimes, and LE Casualty Care. He has Law Enforcement experience working in urban and remote locations. Prior to the academy Coby was assigned to Bethel, a remote post that directly oversaw 24 villages, all off the road system. In Bethel, Coby worked along side tribal police taking case responsibility for primarily felony level crimes including domestic assaults, sex assaults, and sexual abuse against minors.
