MIchael Weber has 40 years' experience as a police officer (15 years in crimes against children). Weber has investigated over 50 reports of Medical Child Abuse, leading to 17 prosecutions in one Texas county. Weber is co-author of the APSAC’s peer-reviewed best practice guidelines for medical child abuse and authored the peer-reviewed article “Investigating Medical Child Abuse” for the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin Journal. Weber is also a member of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children’s Munchausen by Proxy Committee. Weber is the co-author of the true crime/educational book "The Mother Nexxt Door: Medicine, Deception, and Munchausen by proxy" and a regular contributor on the popular true crime podcast "Nobody Should Believe Me" which focuses on Munchausen by Proxy abuse.
