Edward Price is a Detective Lieutenant and has been a member of the Michigan State Police (MSP) since 1995. He supervises MSP detectives in Southeast Michigan and the MSP Trafficking and Abduction Group. He also investigates homicides, human trafficking, kidnappings, police shootings, and other major crimes.
He has instructed at numerous law enforcements centers nationwide on the topic of child sexual exploitation, human trafficking, child homicides, major sex trafficking criminal enterprises and officer involved shootings. Mr. Price has been certified as an expert witness in sex trafficking. D/Lt. Price served several terms as a Commissioner on the Michigan Governor’s Human Trafficking Commission. Before his promotion he was a member of the Detroit Homicide Task Force.
