Detective Sergeant Chaz Balogh retired from the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Office, where he was trained in the field of crimes against children, human trafficking, several ICAC training programs, computer crimes, including computer and mobile (digital) forensics, and interview and interrogation. Chaz was responsible for overseeing the Luzerne County ICAC Task Force and was a member of the ICAC Task Force for sixteen (16) years of his 35-year Law enforcement career. In 2018, Chaz graduated from Jordan Detection K9 as an ESD K9 handler for K9 Spike. During their time serving the county, K9 Spike was deployed over 150 times. Currently, Chaz is employed by Our Rescue as a Law Enforcement Relationship Manager, North America Operations, and oversees the ESD K9 Sponsorship Program.
