Daniel E. O'Donnell is a Supervisory Special Agent, in the Unit Chief of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Behavioral Analysis Unit-3 (BAU-3), which provides behaviorally-based operational support to other federal, state, and local law enforcement regarding crimes against children matters. Prior to becoming its Unit Chief, SSA O'Donnell was a certified profiler in BAU-3 for six years. SSA O'Donnell has been an FBI agent for 21 years, the majority of which has been spent investigating crimes against children. SSA O'Donnell is also actively engaged in various research projects, including 911 calls, missing child investigations, grooming characteristics, and mental health impacts to crimes against children investigators.
