Jeffrey Dort

Jeffrey Dort has been a prosecutor for 34 years and is currently in the Family Protection Division of the San Diego District Attorney’s Office. He prosecutes Child Abuse, DV, Elder Abuse and homicides for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, while working on ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) cases. He has tried over 107 jury trials, and continues assist the San Diego ICAC Task Force, which he helped the San Diego Police Department start in 2001. He keeps his EMT certification current, to assist his understanding and preparation of medical evidence in court. Mr. Dort has previously taught in the areas of homicide, child abuse, and domestic violence in the US and 18 other countries.
