Deborah Kirkland, LPC-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas. She earned her degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2015. Since 2018, she has worked at the Shelby County Children's Advocacy Center in Center, Texas, where she became the Clinical Supervisor in September 2024. Previously, she worked in private practice and at the Burke Center, a local mental health and intellectual disability service provider. Deborah is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Processing Therapy (TF-CPT), Alternatives for Families: A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is committed to providing evidence-based, trauma-informed care to children and families in the community.
