Rita Farrell serves as Senior Director at Zero Abuse Project. Rita manages the national and international ChildFirst® Forensic Interview Training Program and the development of advanced training courses and programs for forensic interviewers and investigators. Rita is a certified law enforcement instructor and provides training and technical assistance for child protection professionals. Rita currently conducts forensic interviews in the field and has interviewed more than 3,500 children. Rita has authored many peer reviewed articles specific to forensic interviewing and the field of child abuse investigations. Rita was awarded the Lt. Bill Walsh Champion Award in 2024.
