Scott Hodgins is an experienced detective/police officer with 18 years of service. In addition to starting as a patrol officer, Det. Hodgins has worked in a street crimes unit and later as a detective in the Property Crimes Unit, the Homicide Division, and currently as a detective in the Crimes Against Children Unit. He has been involved in hundreds of investigations including murders, sexual assaults of children, injuries to children, and other related criminal offenses. Det. Hodgins is skilled in interviewing suspects, drafting arrest and search warrants, and collaborating with the District Attorney's Office, Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, Child Protective Services, and other multidisciplinary team partners to successfully prosecute cases.
