Greg Miller

Greg Miller is a Detective with the Harrisonburg Police Department. Throughout his career, Greg has focused on sex crimes cases, specializing in child pornography and child sexual abuse investigations. Greg is actively involved with the NOVA/DC ICAC Task Force and HPD’s Crisis Negotiation Team. He is an instructor with both the Crisis Intervention Team and Mental Health First-Aid, and is a team leader for HPD’s Peer Support Team. He serves on the faculty of the Commonwealth’s Attorneys’ Services Council’s statewide child abuse and exploitation conference “Sound of Silence.” Greg has been recognized by his community and department, receiving the Kiwanis Law Enforcement Officer of the Year (2007) and HPD’s Law Enforcement Officer of the Year (2018) awards. Greg is also handler to facility dog Hudson.
