Amanda Holtzclaw is a detective with the Killeen Police Department assigned to the Special Victims Unit. She has spent the last nine years investigating crimes against children and interviewing offenders. Detective Holtzclaw was certified by the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Polygraph examiner in 2019 and became certified in Post Conviction Sex Offender Testing in 2020. She spent 5 years as a crisis negotiator attached to the Tactical Response Unit, was named Rookie of the year, Explorers Advisor of the Year, Plain Clothes Officer of the year and recently was awarded a career achievement award by the District Attorney of Bell County.
