Detective Daniel Ortiz #310 is a dedicated law enforcement professional with over 23 years of experience. He serves in the Criminal Investigations Division of the East Hartford Police Department, specializing in major crime investigations. As a certified digital forensic examiner, Detective Ortiz is assigned to a regional computer lab and is an active member of the Connecticut ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force.

Detective Ortiz brings extensive expertise in cell phone forensics and internet-related investigations, often presenting on topics such as Cell Phone Forensics, Internet Safety, and General Internet Awareness to law enforcement agencies and community groups. His collaborative efforts with federal agencies, including Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), exemplify his commitment to combating crimes against children and securing justice for victims.
