Kelly, currently in her 25th year with the Chicago Police Department, serves as a Sergeant in the Bureau of Detectives, Special Investigations Unit (SIU). Kelly has a wealth of experience in SIU, having previously worked as a Detective before being invited to return as a Sergeant. Throughout her career, Kelly has specialized in working with child victims, and she has led and supervised complex Child Sexual Assault investigations. Kelly is deeply passionate about collaborating with the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center's multidisciplinary team, where she plays a vital role in supporting and advocating for child victims. Additionally, Kelly values the opportunity to present case examples, striving to elevate the importance of child sexual assault investigations and bring greater awareness to these critical cases.
