Detective Alberto Layton is a detective with the Dallas Police and currently assigned to the Child Abuse Unit. He has been in this unit for the past 10 years. He has 15 years of investigative experience which include 3 years at the South Central Property Crime Investigative Unit and 2 years with the Dallas Police Homicide Unit. He has been a Dallas Police officer for 24 years. Detective Layton has investigated over 1400 child abuse cases and conducted numerous child abuse interrogations in Spanish.
