Spanish Forensic Interviewer Forum

Every advocacy center is unique, but one commonality we all share is the varied backgrounds of our clients. Forensic interviewers face many challenges on a daily basis, and bilingual interviewers, in particular, must navigate challenges related to language and communication that may not be easily addressed without consistent feedback in peer review. It is essential that Spanish-speaking forensic interviewers come together to address the specific needs encountered in the interview room with Spanish-speaking children. As forensic interviewers, we have an obligation to provide the highest quality interviews and effectively meet the language needs of the children we serve. This forum will bring Spanish-speaking forensic interviewers together to discuss current trends and challenges in interviewing Spanish-speaking clients.
