This presentation discusses a true story of a child left behind due to witnessing the murder of her mother by her father and then his suicide. The speaker details the unfolding of finding out what led up to the tragedy and how she overcame it: past, present, and future. This workshop is to assist organizations working with teenagers and adults suffering from childhood trauma to be successful in their programs, whether it be probation, bond, court program, etc. The resources and skills given have been used to improve long-term success.
